~Secret~

Guys LOVE it when you call them handsome - you rarely ever hear that compliment anymore. Cute is okay...but handsome is MUCH better.

Accordingly, a girl would much rather be called "beautiful" than "sexy" or "hot." Just...don't overuse it, it sounds disingenuous.

Girls LOVE it when you make plans before you hang out with them. It's thoughtful...plus they really dislike when you say "Idk...whattayouwannado?"Guys LOVE it when you tell us what you like instead of making us guess. We know you don't like to say it sometimes. But really, you should only have to say it once - if you've got a good guy, he should remember.

Girls LOVE it when you clean up after yourself. Wash a dish or vacuum without getting prompted...and if you're gonna pick them up in your car...try to straighten it up first.

Guys that have good relationships with their mother, usually end up marrying girls that are similar to them. Crazy right? Great moms rock.

Girls spend a good amount of time getting ready to go out with you...so they realllly like when you compliment them after. Tell them they look stunning.

Guys are WAY more sensitive than you think they are. Be careful when you're teasing him, or talking about his mom or his ex. A guy with busted confidence is a shell of himself. He wants to know you think he's the MAN.

Girls WANT you to be jealous and a LITTLE possessive. Don't go nuts - but when you go out, hold her hand, put your arm around her, if someone gets too close to her on the dance floor - make your presence felt, etc.

If a guy makes a girl a mixtape/mix CD, he likes them. No doubt about it. He wants her to be a part of his little world, and music is one of the ways we share experiences.

If a girl says "nothing" is wrong, something is DEFINITELY wrong. Try to draw her out a little bit about it - but if she doesn't wanna talk about it, leave it alone - it'll come out eventually.

No matter how independent and modern girls are, they still like chivalry. Open doors, pull out chairs, offer your coat if its cold, you know...gentlemanly stuff.

With girls, it will ALWAYS be about the LITTLE THINGS. Phone calls to say "I was thinking about you", little notes left around saying "have a good day at work", noticing when they change something about their appearance, remembering dates, knowing their favorite colors or songs. This goes WAY further than fancy stuff.

If a guy really really likes you, especially when he first meets you - he might come off as very smooth. He might stammer, or just sound generally like a dork. Don't take that at face value - take it as a compliment, he finds you that beautiful that he can't quite keep it together as he normally does.

Guys NEED alone/guy time. It's not that we don't luvvvv you or luvvv spending time with you - he just need some time to soak in his testosterone, grunt, burp, shoot something, eat something with his hands, and generally be a boy. We don't grow up THAT much...I mean, I had girl friends when I was 8, but Gi-Joe can only go out with Barbie so often before he needs to fight Cobra and watch football.

Girls LOVEEEEEEEE surprises!! Being counted on = good, predictable = lame.

If a guy takes the time to watch a "chick-flick" with you...he's secretly hoping you let him watch a movie HE likes next time.

Usually, girls judge in the first few minutes of meeting you whether or not they they would make out with you. Even with other girls, sometimes they'll decide quickly whether they like you or not.

Girls sometimes wear their hearts on their sleeves...other times they wear their hearts on their...AWAY MESSAGES. Sometimes its subtle, sometimes it's not so subtle.

Just like guys, girls can get nervous too - but rather than stammering or coming off like a goof like we sometimes do, they'll laugh or giggle - ALOT. If a girl makes you feel like you're Dane Cook all of a sudden, she digs you.

If a girl touches you in a friendly, fun way - like pushing you, pinching you, punching your arm - she's comfortable with you...and probably flirting.

Body language clues on girls:+ Crossed arms = bad. She's uncomfortable, agitated or nervous.+ Leaning back away from you = very bad. Leaning towards you? Almost always good.+ If you saw Hitch, you know this one. If she's playing with her hair or messing with her keys, she's waiting for you to make a move.

Body language clues on guys:+ He'll touch his face alot if he's interested in you...chin, ears, cheeks. It's very subtle. If he's drinking something, he'll take more sips.+ Watch if he "preens" himself before he comes over to talk to you. He'll fix or mess up his hair, check for stuff on his shirt, etc.

Every girl I've ever talked to like kisses on her neck. Just don't overdo it, like anything else.Girls AND guys often grow closer over shared HATES more than shared likes. So find something you both despise.

Those in red are true! well, at least to me.

My bee is sleeping so soundly.=)
